Program Bass Tournament - July 26, 2008 Banquet - January 26, 2008 - 5:00 pm Happy Hour 6:00 pm Dinner Home Safety and Personal Protection Course - Open to the Public - This course will develop your basic knowledge, skills and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and provide information on the law-abiding citizen's right to self-defense. This course is conducted multiple times a year and cost is One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per applicant. Course Description - The Seventeen Hour Course is divided into multiple classes To view outline select Course Outline.pdf. All instructors are NRA certified and volunteer their time. If you know of someone who is handicapped, bring them to the Hibernia Park on this day. There will be free refreshments for all. Hunter -Trapper Safety Course - Open to the Public- As 2008 rolls around we start thinking of a new hunting season. This is a reminder not to wait too long to enroll all first-time hunters in a Hunter-Trapper Safety Course. Anyone planning a trip to some of our western states should check their regulations first. Some of them require all hunters to have a Hunter-Trapper Certificate no matter how long you have hunted. Four 2008 classes at our club will be held on March 19,22 - June 18,21 - August 20,23 and September 17.20. The Wednesday class hours are 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and the Saturday class hours are 8:00 am till 4:30 pm Students should register via computer by going on the game Commission website. It is geared for experienced and proficient young .22 cal rifle shooters between the ages of 10 and 17 and will be shooting NRA and Civilian Marksmanship Program qualification courses for four-position smallbore rifle. The shooters will earn qualification certificates for each skill level that they attain. The 2007 program is on the 4th Sunday of each month from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m..
