Compound Shooters - 7:00 to 9:00pm Every Wednesday except the 2 Wednesday of each month (Club Meeting night)

Traditional Shooters - 7:00 to 9:00pm Every Thursday night

Open to the Public 2008 Youth Archery Instruction Program
Presented at The West Caln Sportsmen's Club
In conjunction with the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP)
This program is designed for young people ages 7 through 15 and provides a good solid basis for the enjoyment of archery, a lifetime sport.
Equipment is provided.
NASP certified instructors: Merle Davis, Carrie Deck, Dave Deck, Don Swiegart
Parents are welcome to observe.
Total cost; $30 for a 4 session Indoor class. Enrollment is limited to 12 students so please sign your son or daughter up as soon as possible.
2008 dates Feb 2,9,16,23 10:00am - 12:00 pm and 2 classes Aug. 7,14,21,28 morning session from 9:00am - 10:30am or evening session 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Open to the Public - Bow Hunter Safety Course . - August 11th 2007 -This is an excellent one day course for all Bow hunters and the completion certificate is required to bow hunt in many states. Note: This is a totally separate course from the Hunter Safety Course that WCSC conducts.
Cost is $18 per attendee and requires registration and payment with enough lead time to receive, watch a video and complete a home study course supplied by the state before the 8 hour session on the above date.. Contact Sam Virgilio at 610-459-1513 to sign up and for more details.

Home Safety and Personal Protection Course - Open to the Public - This course will develop your basic knowledge, skills and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and provide information on the law-abiding citizen's right to self-defense. This course is conducted multiple times a year and cost is One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per applicant. Course Description - The Seventeen Hour Course is divided into multiple classes To view outline select Course Outline.pdf. All instructors are NRA certified and volunteer their time. It is mandatory that all Ammo used during this course must be FireFrangible mfg by Precision Ammunition and can be purchased through the course instructors at a cost of $25.00 per box with a total of 4 boxes (200 rounds) needed to complete the course per applicant. Handicap Fishing Day - Open to the Public -The Handicap Fishing Day will be May 14, 2008 from 9 AM until 5 PM. Rain date will be the next day. If you know of someone who is handicapped, bring them to the Hibernia Park on this day. There will be free refreshments for all. Let's all get together and help make this a pleasant day for all who attend. You'll be glad you did!

Hunter -Trapper Safety Course - Open to the Public- As 2008 rolls around we start thinking of a new hunting season. This is a reminder not to wait too long to enroll all first-time hunters in a Hunter-Trapper Safety Course. Anyone planning a trip to some of our western states should check their regulations first. Some of them require all hunters to have a Hunter-Trapper Certificate no matter how long you have hunted. Four 2008 classes at our club will be held on March 19,22 - June 18,21 - August 20,23 and September 17.20. The Wednesday class hours are 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and the Saturday class hours are 8:00 am till 4:30 pm Students should register via computer by going on the game Commission website. Junior Rifle Shooting - Open to the Public - Note: The 2008 Junior rifle shooting program starts at 5:30 p.m. every Friday - Jan. 4th, 2008 for 12 wks . Running Deer - Open to the Public - Sunday November 4th,11th & 25th, 2007 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. 75 yd shooting with rifle, slug gun, flintlocks or pistols of the type used for deer hunting

Stag Picnic - Open to the Public Saturday August 2, 2008 Starts at noon - Activities: Horseshoe Tournament and other games, Door Prizes Food: Steaks, Corn & Beverages Tickets (advance)$15.00 or $20.00 at gate.

Trap - Open to the Public - Trap shooting, ages 12 and up, Start June 10 (Tuesday) and continue 1st and 3rd Tuesday to September. Starting time is 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. Cost is $4.00 per 25 shot round and $4.00 for a box of shells or bring your own, any gauge, must be low brass #7 or above. Shooting will be every Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. in September and October

Turkey Fair - Open to the Public - Nov.10, 2007 and Nov. 8, 2008 at 7:00 pm at the Club House

Youth Shooters League - Open to the Public - Limited Enrollments - $5.00 Fee per Session Required - The Club has a program for young shooters called the Youth Shooters League. It is geared for experienced and proficient young .22 cal rifle shooters between the ages of 10 and 17 and will be shooting NRA and Civilian Marksmanship Program qualification courses for four-position smallbore rifle. The shooters will earn qualification certificates for each skill level that they attain. The 2007 program is on the 4th Sunday of each month from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m..
